This workshop is designed to help parents and carers to listen to the child and to help by trusting their own abilities to help with natural methods at home for simple ailments.
Touch for Health Kinesiology is one of the best methods for the general public to listen to their body / mind / spirit and to help themselves to stay well. We ask the body questions in order to determine where the imbalances are in the muscles and meridians and then apply various methods to re-balance the energy to produce optimal health for each individual. It is widely used by many health care professionals alongside their other therapies as well as used in many homes around the world.
The International Kinesiology College keeps the records of all the teachers around the world and all Instructors need to update every 2 years to maintain the standards expected. I started teaching the Self Care segments of Level One of the training online when people were not attending live classes. They have become quite popular, and I have now returned to more live classes in York, England where I live. There will be more online classes coming up and a check-in with previous students to see how they are doing with the techniques.

ABOUT JUNE

June has been involved in “alternative” healthcare since 1987. She has travelled widely and learned from other cultures. After her Linguistics degree, she took up nursing training in mental health.
She moved into alternative / complementary / intergrative healthcare training when her children were small in the 1980’s, with Touch for Health Kinesiology and then Acupuncture, then treatments for children, and has continued to learn and add to her skills since then. She is a trained Mentor and Birth Assistant and uses Egyptian Alkhemi Healing. She gets regular mentoring and supervision herself, and continues to learn and improve her skills. The core of her practice for many years has been women and children’s wellbeing. Now, she is concerned for the future of her grandaughter.
She has managed her own complementary health clinic since 1992, and as a CIC since 2007, valuing teamwork and networking. She has always aimed for an integrated healthcare centre, and is actively involved in her local PHA Hub – combining therapies and education / skill sharing. June was involved for a number of months with the Holistic Forum, setting out ideas for the Hub Blueprint, was invited to become the PHA Paediatric Ambassador, and was part of the team setting out the Youth Hub Blueprint. We must protect the children – they are the future. June is also a proud member of the PHA Wellbeing Wednesday Team.
